Evening Menu

 

Evening meals can be made prepared for £15 per head. Please note that evening meals need to be ordered in advance and guests will need to choose the same main dish but different starters are fine. They are available from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Bring your own bottle.

Evening meals are served in your room.

We try to use organic, homemade, local and fairly traded food whenever possible. Sometimes we can't get hold of certain ingredients but we try to make the following available:-

 

Starter

Smoked salmon on oatcakes

Homemade soup (vegan/gf)

Raw vegetable salad with honeyed mixed nuts and goats cheese (vegan/gf)

Welsh Rarebit (special cheese on toast) (vegetarian)

Beetroot and goats cheese tart (vegetarian)

 

Main course

Butternut SquashTagine (vegan/gf)

Kale, tomato and coconut curry with dhal (gf/vegan)

Risotto (mushroom, butternut squash, onion or pea) (gf/vegetarian)

Spaghetti Aglio Olio (spaghetti with garlic, sage, chilli and parmesan) (vegetarian)

Fish and pepper stew (gf)

Chicken with lemon and olives (gf)

Beef and prune stew (gf)

 

All served in large bowls with vegetables or salad and either rice or fresh bread

 

 

note: Whenever possible all our meat comes from Kenneth Morrison Butchers in Gairloch, smoke salmon is from Loch Torridon Smokehouse, porridge and sugar from Highland Wholefoods and eggs and vegetables from Black Isle Berries.
